COVID-19 Update
Dear Church Family,
We hope that this finds you and your family well. We wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the concern that members of our church family have been in contact with people who have tested positive for COVID-19, and in some cases tested positive themselves. On August 1st, SCC sent students to Maranatha Bible Camp. After the campers returned home, we were notified by the Camp that they had staff members test positive.
Our intention by sending this message is not to cause fear or panic, but for you to be aware of what is happening here at SCC. We have been in communication with the parties involved and can ensure that they have handled the situation with safety and precaution by staying home in quarantine as the CDC and local health authorities suggest. As a church leadership, we are striving to honor God and do what is best based for our community, while also recognizing the importance of the Body worshiping together.
We know this is not the last time that our church family will come in contact or test positive themselves for COVID-19, so we will continue to do everything we can to keep you safe while you’re worshiping with us. Here is a brief outline of precautions we are taking as a Church to ensure your safety.
In Christ,
Joshua Frakes

Here is a brief outline of precautions we are taking as a Church to ensure your safety.
- There are several bottles of hand sanitizers stationed around the building.
- Offering plates are on a table in the back of the sanctuary. We encourage you to take offering over to the plates, limiting exposure from passing the plates around.
- Communion will continue to be pre-packaged and given to you as you walk into the sanctuary from someone wearing gloves.
- As a general reminder, we suggest continuing social distancing while in the building. We also encourage you to wear a mask if you desire to wear one.
- The Church facility continues to be cleaned on a weekly basis as well as maintained on Sundays before, during, and in between services.
- We will still be holding our 9:15 AM and 10:45 AM service on Sundays, as well as our online service at 10:00 AM. The online service can be found at senecachristian.org, our YouTube channel (Seneca Christian Church), or our Seneca Christian Church Facebook page.
